The Chrome browser from Google has recently gotten an update that is surprising users a little. Chrome can now change many menus to Microsoft Windows 11 style menus. You might be surprised to learn that Microsoft and Google are working together in some places. Microsoft’s Surface Duo runs Android technology but Google Chrome can also be customized with Microsoft in mind.
If this is something you are interested in doing, here is exactly how:
- First, make sure your Chrome browser is above version 96 or above. This can be down in the Help section of Google Chrome.
- Next, you’ll want to type in chrome://flags in your address bar. This is the experiments page, so type in Windows 11 into your search bar.
- You can use the drop down menu for Windows 11 Style menus and change it to be enabled. Relaunch your browser and it will be ready to go.
This new design is subtle but you can definitely see the change in style and menu so that it fits in with the Windows 11 default browser and other configurations.
